This is a great fun villa. It is one storey, built around a lawned central courtyard with fountain, all in 6000m² of grassed and treed land. A gravelled drive leads to the front door. The entrance area is open-plan with the large sitting-room/dining-room, forming a spacious, airy L shape - there are no less than seven sets of glazed doors opening onto the gardens and terrace. In the sitting-room area there are two sofas, two armchairs and two or three low tables. There is a fireplace built in between two of the glazed doors. The dining end of the room (adjoining the kitchen) contains a large dining table and chairs and a sideboard, as well as another sofa. Leaving the entrance hall in the other direction, there is a door to a small inner hall containing a big built-in cupboard and giving access to the first bedroom. Here there is a double bed, a chest of drawers and another big built-in wardrobe. There is a glazed door to the inner garden, and a door to the en suite shower room - with loo, shower and handbasin. The next two bedrooms are accessed by the courtyard garden. The house is built in a square around this garden, and there is a covered walkway running around the edge to give access to these rooms. In one bedroom there are two single beds - one pulls out from underneath the other - ideal for children. There is a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The other bedroom is double-bedded and also contains a wardrobe, and in addition there is a dresser with two cupboards. Between these two bedrooms, and accessible from either side, is a big bathroom with a bath, separate shower, loo and handbasin. All three rooms have glazed doors onto the interior garden. There is a similar arrangement of rooms forming another side of the square - one double-bedded room with a built-in cupboard with shelves and hanging space and another bedroom with one single bed and a couple of cupboards, both rooms having a door onto a shower room with shower, handbasin, loo, cupboards and a shelf, and this is where you will find the washing machine and the tumble dryer. The sofa in the dining area is in fact a double sofabed, and this can be moved into the single-bedded room. Now, to complete the square, comes the kitchen. There is a range of fitted cupboards and work surfaces, a double sink with single drainer, a dishwasher, a 4-ring electric hob and a wall-mounted electric oven. There is a small freezer tucked under the work surface, as well as an American fridge/freezer in a recess. In addition, there is a wooden kitchen dresser. Glazed doors lead from the kitchen to a covered patio ideal for outside dining - there are tables and chairs and a built-in barbecue. The roof creates cool shade for lunchtime, and there is electric light for evening meals. The pool is on this side of the house. It measures 10m x 5m and is set in a paved and lawned area surrounded by a series of arches, with the rest of the garden spread out around it. Although there are neighbouring houses visible, the patio and pool area have an open outlook across countryside and gardens.
