La Cheumiere is a beautiful, and typically French Herault village house with a wonderfully fragrant garden and terrace. It is quiet and very private but only a couple of minutes walk from the shops, bars and restaurants of this bustling French village. The kitchen and dining area are something to behold with original oak beams, a huge open fireplace and cool terracotta tiles on the floor. The garden is very sunny and abounds with wonderful Mediterranean plants. There are plenty of places to sit in the sun and relax and a barbeque is provided. It is totally secluded and enclosed and is also child friendly. There is a shady terrace for those al-fresco lunches or barbeques. There are three bedrooms a twin and two doubles (the ground floor double bedroom can be an additional sitting room if required) and the property can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. A cot and a high chair are also provided. There is a fully fitted bathroom with bath, toilet, wash hand basin and a separate toilet on the first floor. The kitchen is open plan and has a cooker, double fridge, and microwave.

This pretty French cottage can be found a short distance from the centre of Roujan. It is 3 minutes walk from the nearest café/restaurant, 5 minutes walk from the tabac, general shop and bakers.

Out and About

Situated in the winelands of the Herault, there is a large number of wine domains to visit where you can sample local wares. Otherwise Pezenas in all its medieval pomp at 15 minutes drive can tempt you with its beauty, its shops, its summer long festival of culture, restaurants, bars and life. The Mediterranean is about 30 minutes drive and offers miles of Europe's finest beaches. This property is only let from 3rd June to the 30th September and the owner says she would prefer groups with no more than 2 children under 7 years old.
