The former sheep-farm of the Chateau de Lavagnac, built in the 18th century, has been extensively renovated during the last few years in a way that preserves its original character as far as possible. The main building and the outhouses are grouped around a spacious courtyard with shady trees. Located at the top of a gently sloping hill, the Bergerie offers a charming view of the foot-hills of the Cevennes mountains and the valley of the Herault river. Today the Bergerie offers accommodation for up to 16 holiday guests and it is also appropriate for organising French language courses or seminars. Private tuition in French or German is in fact available on request.
