Southern France was originally formed in 1998 to act as an online brochure for the vacation rentals owned by Theodora Simons and John Platings and me, Rob Thorne, and my wife Liz.

TheSouthern France web page went live in February 1999.

From this it grew into one of the best French regional vacation rental websites. As we all live in Southern France we were visiting the properties and knew the owners and the vacation rentals on our site. Enquiries that came to us could benefit from our knowlege of the area ............. good wine domaines to visit, best beaches for toddllers, restaurants etc.

Although we still like to visit properties before they appear on site, sadly we can not now visit all of them. But you will see that the majority of properties are highligted in yellow, and these are the ones that we have visited.

The website has its first "relook" now.
